The Unforgettable Fire Tour consisted of 6 legs starting on 28 Aug 1984 and finishing on 25 Aug 1985.
This was U2's first proper global tour as it took in dates in Australia and New Zealand as well and Europe and North America. The first part of the tour was more or less a continuation of the War Tour as the Unforgettable Fire album wasn't released until October 1984, but the tour started 2 months before. As such only a few songs from the new album made their way into the set lists in the early shows.
The tour consisted of 6 legs, starting in Australia and New Zealand followed by a couple of tours of Europe and a couple in North America. With some European summer festival shows to finish off.
There were 4 different official programs released and sold at the various shows throughout the whole tour. For the ease of naming, I'll refer to them as:
U2 Blue Down Under
U2 Blue
U2 Red
U2 White
Each will have it's own post with details and pics
A comprehensive informational and pictorial guide to all official U2 tour programmes over the years.
