U2 Tour Programmes: LoveTown

Tour Legs: This program was for the first part of the first leg of the Lovetown Tour which encompassed Australia & New Zealand.
Dates covered in program: The program itself has all the original dates scheduled for the entire tour (including the European gigs). Starting on 21 Sep 1989 in Perth and going all the way through to 31 Dec in Dublin.

No. of pages: 44 (not including the inside front and rear covers)

Size: 31cm x 25cm

Printing: Glossy pages throughout. The first half of the program looks to have pictures of the band taken specifically for this tour. There are a mix of both colour and black and white photos that look to have been taken in a studio. The second half of the program borrows many images from the Joshua Tree programs...the black and white out in the desert photo's synonymous with the Joshua Tree.

Cost: I can't remember how much I paid for this one as I bought it at one of the Brisbane Entertainment Centre concerts and it was so long ago. But at the time it probably cost around $20AUD so I'm happy to stick with that.

On eBay this can be found on sale for anywhere between $50USD all the way up to $150. As the 3 programs for this tour are so similar, if you are collecting, be sure to find out from the seller if they know which version it is (i.e. the European leg program has more pages and some different pictures. The Japanese copy is pretty much the same as the Aus/NZ one but for a few quotes and text are in Japanese).
